Sam Garbia, Partner

Mr. Garbia's practice focuses on business, immigration, intellectual property, and real estate law.

Prior to founding Garbia, MacGregor & Plocki, LLP, Mr. Garbia was an associate at Fleshner & Kim, LLP in Northern Virginia . Mr. Garbia received his B.A. from George Mason University , and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from George Mason University School of Law. While in law school Mr. Garbia was a member of the Moot Court Board, where he actively participated in moot court competitions, and represented George Mason University School of Law in the 2001 Inter-American Humans Rights Moot Court Competition and the 2002 Southern Region of the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition. Mr. Garbia was also student treasurer of the George Mason American Inn of Court.

Mr. Garbia has a wide range of corporate, immigration, intellectual property, and real estate law experience. He has been involved in litigation related to immigration, real estate, contract disputes, trademark/trade dress, copyright, trade secret, patent, and licensing and non-compete agreements.

Admitted: Mr. Garbia is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice in the Virginia Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
